Which Project Should You Focus On?
AI can generate more work than one human can execute. The scarce resource is attention. Score a project in under a minute and see whether it deserves yours.
Your project
45 / 100
WAIT
Park it. Revisit when new evidence appears.
Why
- Some real-world evidence
- Moderate user demand
- Partial strategic fit
- Some revenue potential
Biggest weakness
Weakest signal: real user evidence
What would change the decision?
Before investing more development time, collect evidence from at least one real user behavior: a signup, a reply, a repeat visit or a payment.
This score is a decision aid, not an objective truth.

How the score works
Transparent weights you can check, argue with, or adapt.
Six signals add up to 100 points. Effort and maintenance subtract up to 25. Each input is scaled from 0 to 5, so a 3 on Evidence is worth 15 of its 25 points. The result is rounded and kept between 0 and 100.
| Factor | Max points |
|---|---|
| Evidence / real user signal | +25 |
| User demand | +20 |
| Strategic fit | +15 |
| Revenue potential | +15 |
| Urgency | +15 |
| Founder interest / conviction | +10 |
| Effort required | −15 |
| Ongoing maintenance burden | −10 |
75–100 · FOCUSGive this project your main attention now.
55–74 · MAINTAIN / VALIDATEKeep it running and gather the evidence that would justify more time.
35–54 · WAITPark it. Revisit when new evidence appears.
0–34 · DROP / REVIEWReview whether this project still deserves a place. You make the final call.
If Evidence and Demand are both 1 or lower, the result is capped at WAIT. FOCUS also needs an Evidence score of at least 3. Founder excitement alone can never put a project in FOCUS.

Why project prioritization matters for solo founders
AI makes building cheap. A landing page, a working tool, a content site: each takes hours now, not weeks. That changes where a solo founder gets stuck.
The bottleneck is no longer generating ideas or code. It is deciding which project deserves limited attention. Every new project also adds weekly upkeep: fixes, updates, content and checks. Five half-maintained projects can earn less than one that gets real focus.
Excitement is a poor guide here. New ideas always feel better than old ones because nothing has disproved them yet. Evidence from real users is the only signal that consistently separates a project worth time from one that just feels promising.
How OnePersonCoHQ uses this
This company runs several products with one human and a team of AI employees. Each product is reviewed on the same inputs this tool uses:
- Evidence: what real users have actually done, not what we expect them to do.
- Validation: a written goal, plus the results that would make us continue, change course or stop.
- Effort: the build and upkeep cost against the time one person really has.
- Opportunity: demand, revenue potential and how well it fits the rest of the portfolio.
- Founder judgment: the final call. The system only suggests.
The result is one of four portfolio decisions: Focus, Maintain, Wait or Review. They are always suggestions. Stopping a product is never automatic; it is a Founder decision recorded in public.
